TREE HARVEST
Chop the base of a tree and watch the whole thing topple over, dropping all its logs and leaf loot at once.
Unlock: Echevent Point Shop
Trigger: Break a natural log with an axe
Max Tree Size: 150 logs
Tool Required: Any axe
What It Does
Tree Harvest lets you fell an entire tree by breaking a single log at its base. The tree topples away from you with a falling animation, logs drop as items where they land, and leaves break naturally giving their usual drops like saplings, sticks, and apples.
Your axe takes durability damage equal to the number of logs harvested, and chopping a full tree costs one hunger point.
How the Falling Works
| Detail | Behavior |
|---|---|
| Fall direction | The tree falls away from where you are standing |
| Log blocks | Visually fall and land as pickupable log items |
| Leaf blocks | Fall alongside the tree and break naturally on landing, giving saplings, sticks, and apples |
| Higher blocks | Travel further outward, simulating a real tree pivoting at the base |
Requirements
- You must have the Tree Harvest perk unlocked and enabled.
- You must be holding an axe (wooden through netherite).
- The log must be a natural tree (not player-placed) with at least 2 nearby leaves.
Costs
| Cost | Amount |
|---|---|
| Axe durability | 1 durability per log harvested |
| Hunger | 1 hunger point per tree |
Player Tips
- Stand opposite the direction you want the tree to fall.
- Use an unbreaking or mending axe for large harvesting sessions.
- Player-placed logs are ignored, so your builds are safe.
- Trees up to 150 logs can be felled in one chop.
